Stem Cell Therapy Truly Is A Medical Breakthrough
Over the decades, I have seen some incredible medical breakthroughs. However, I can say without exaggeration or reservation, that no treatment option I’ve ever seen excites me as much as stem cell therapy.
Stem cell therapy is a truly regenerative treatment for people in pain. This treatment really can reduce and even eliminate many causes of severe or chronic hip, knee, shoulder, back and joint pain. With more than 30 years of experience as a medical doctor, treating patients in pain, I have seen dramatic improvements, in available treatments and in the long-term outcome for patients. Each of these advances has been exciting for me and tremendously beneficial and rewarding for my patients. I believe my patients deserve the absolute best available treatments; so, as medical science continues to advance, I have kept up-to-date on the most-effective treatment options available in this ever-changing field.
Knowledge is power, even for myself. The more research I read and educational symposiums I attend, ensures the latest information I can provide for you. So that when a newer treatment has proven to be safe and effective, I can be a trusted expert my patients can depend on. Regardless if a patient does not choose my practice, I will work to educate them and help them find a way to live a happier, more fulfilling life, as free of pain as possible.
I strongly feel that it is my moral job to educate patients on the medical industry and what is happening in the world of regenerative medicine. Unfortunately, there are many providers that are offering treatments that are unethical, or they are promising outcomes that are not honest and viable. I will be straightforward with you and provide you with the facts. I have been in the industry for 20 years. It frustrates and upsets me to see someone taken advantage of. Many providers make unreasonable promises and don’t present the patients with all of the data. I can tell you that I will be honest in sharing with you how I can help you. Meet Dr. Skaliy
Dr. Mike Skaliy, MD was born in Savannah, Georgia and grew up in the Atlanta area. He attended the pre-medical program at Tulane University and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia. He attended the University of Tennessee for his four-year residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
After graduation, Dr. Skaliy became Board Certified in Anesthesiology; and, in 1997, he became Board Certified in Pain Management. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the International Society of Spinal Injectionists. Dr. Skaily is also a member of The American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians (AAOSCP), an organization created to advance research and the development of therapeutics in regenerative medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease related to or occurring within the human body.
Dr. Skaliy was chairman of Anesthesiology and Pain Management for Georgia Baptist Medical Center (now Atlanta Medical Center) for ten years. He served on the Board of Trustees of the hospital for eight years, and was Chief of Staff of the hospital prior to opening Atlanta Spine Specialists.
Dr. Skaliy lives near Atlanta, Georgia. He is a devoted husband, father of two sons and one grandson.
Our practice has been involved in stem cell therapy, regenerative medicine for over 5 years. In this time we have helped hundreds of patients to reduce pain, increase functionality, and avoid major surgeries on their knees, shoulders, elbows, hips and back. With these treatments our patients have returned to fully functional, normal daily activities in a matter of days rather than months or years.
